Day 1 - Annual Youth Retreat

On Saturday, August 14th we began our Annual Youth Retreat with registration at 3:00 p.m.  Although for the set-up team our responsibilities began on Friday, August 13th, the rest of the camp participants arrived with joyful expectations.  On Friday, August 13 a set-up team consisting of campers and staff purchased the food for the week and pitched-up tents for the camp outs. 

The groups' counselors then received an orientation from the Assistant Directors as the counselors prepared to welcome and receive their campers.

Then we began with dinner prepared by a dedicated staff.  This was a moment where we were able to get acquainted and know each other further.

Then we participated in an evening "mixer" where the campers and staff played several games at The Lodge!
