Day 2 - Annual Youth Retreat - Sunday, August 15

On Day #2 we began our Bible Studies centered on the theme; "Be a Hero: Living Like Jesus."  Our study leaders: Rev. Jose Gonzalez, Jennie Rodriguez, Ann Renee Hansard, Ruth Hewitt, Felipe Rodriguez and Izzy Hewitt have been preparing for an edifying week of creative study and learning.

We then gathered at The Lodge for our Worship Explosion.  The Redeemer's Worship Team led us in praise songs, testimonies and prayer.  It was certainly a blessings seeing The Lodge almost full as we welcomed a number of former campers, parents, and members of sister churches.

The campers and staff then had "Water Instructions" at Westminster Lake during the afternoon after lunch.  This was another refreshing experience as children and youth tested their swimming skills.

In the evening we were unable to have the outdoor movie night due to rain.  Yet, we were creative enough to have movie night at Charlotte's Room (Agape Center). We saw Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.

Over all this was our first full day and we definitely had some good times.
