Today the campers and staff had a late morning to give themselves time to recover from the campouts. Several groups went on late night hikes, camped out in our tents, and went to sleep relatively late. The day began with lunch and continued with recreational events throughout the day. The campers received an orientation on the Lord's Supper after lunch in preparation for the evening worship service. Both Rev. Jose Gonzalez and Rev. Victor Aloyo, Jr. provided the information to all the participants of the retreat.
Groups are currently preparing for their Skit Night on Thursday evening. This is a major undertaking as groups try to create skits with a positive message based on Biblical themes.
In the evening we had family style dinner where the counselors served their groups at their tables. Candlelights and table clothes lent itself to a real nice atmosphere!
We then concluded the evening with the celebration of The Lord's Supper where the Rev. Jose Gonzalez preached The Word and administered the sacrament. The title of the sermon was: "Is That All You Got" based on the feeding of the 5,000.
